Privacy & analytics choices

Reviewed November 3, 2026

This page explains analytics and optional third-party media on this independent Traffic Architect guide. The site has no advertising network, user account registration or payment form.

Analytics providers

Google Analytics 4
Measures visits and meaningful navigation between guides. The shared loader disables Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Microsoft Clarity
Provides behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replay to help identify confusing layouts and navigation. When enabled, it can use cookies and other tracking technology. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Shipsolo
Provides a separate backup view through a Shipsolo-hosted aggregate analytics script. Its loading is separate from the Google Analytics and Clarity choice. See Shipsolo's Privacy Policy.
Google Search Console
Provides indexing and search-performance reports to the operator. It does not add a Search Console visitor script to these pages.

Google Analytics and Clarity preferences

The site stores your browser's analytics choice for up to one year. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and when the region cannot be determined, the common loader waits for a choice before loading Google Analytics and Clarity. Elsewhere it can load them unless you reject them.

Use Analytics settings in the footer to accept or reject these two providers. Rejection stops their future loading after a reload and attempts to remove their first-party cookies. The choice does not control the independent Shipsolo script or a YouTube player you choose to open.

Storage and browser controls

The preference uses local storage. A country code may be cached for the browser session to decide whether to ask first. These choices apply to this browser on this site; another browser or cleared storage needs its own choice. Browser controls can also block or clear cookies and site storage.

Optional YouTube players

A video’s native preview image loads from YouTube before you press play. That image request can share technical information such as your IP address with its provider. The embedded player loads only after you activate the clearly identified video. Playing it connects to YouTube and may use cookies under its own policies. This site's Google Analytics and Clarity choice does not control the preview image or player. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Hosting and external links

Cloudflare serves the site and may process request information for delivery and security. External source links belong to their own providers; this site's analytics choices do not apply to those destinations.
