Road building
Traffic Architect Sidewalks and Pedestrian Simulation
Traffic Architect has sidewalk road styling, but pedestrians are not simulated. On the November 3 launch post, a player asks whether there are sidewalks. The developer answers that roads can use sidewalks or guardrails and that this road-style choice is free. Sidewalk appearance therefore does not establish a system of individual walking trips.

Sidewalks and guardrails are a road-style choice
The developer explicitly identifies a choice between sidewalks and guardrails. That answers whether the visible road edge exists; it does not supply a separate pedestrian-routing tool. The reply does not give the exact menu sequence, so this guide does not invent a button location or a shortcut for changing styles.
Do not confuse transport passengers with simulated walkers
The full 1.1.0 notes describe buses, passenger trains, metro and transfers between lines. Those transport features do not contradict the separate statement that pedestrians are not simulated. A sidewalk’s presence alone is not proof of a walkable route, a pedestrian crossing system or a promised road-capacity increase.
If you are deciding whether the game supports a pedestrian-focused city, use the developer’s actual limitation rather than a road screenshot. If your existing problem is cars failing to reach a destination, investigate No Route Available instead of treating sidewalk styling as the missing connection.
Check the product and date if advice differs
This answer is the developer’s November 3 statement on the full-game launch thread. It is not a claim that every older browser edition has the same styling interface, or that future updates cannot add pedestrian features. Use the edition guide when a recording or feature claim refers to another product.
Your feature check is complete when you distinguish the available sidewalk/guardrail appearance from the absent individual-pedestrian simulation. For an exact styling-menu problem, keep your edition/build and visible menu rather than guessing a control from this feature answer.
