Traffic Architect Demo vs Full Version: Check Your Fix
Traffic Architect full 1.1.0 released on November 3, 2026, but that does not establish that the Demo received the same build. First identify whether you launched the Demo or full product, then match the exact action and symptom to the relevant patch. A useful bug report includes that product distinction even when the numeric version is not visible.

Identify the product you actually launched
- Check the Steam product/entry you used: the full game is AppID5028050; the separate Demo listed by the current store API is AppID5133710.
- If a version/build is displayed in your installation, record it exactly with a screenshot. Do not substitute the newest full-version announcement for an unobserved Demo build.
- Let Steam finish any offered update, then confirm you are opening the intended product.
- For a guide or report, keep “Demo/full,” platform and numeric build as separate fields. If you cannot find the numeric build, say unknown instead of guessing 1.0.8 or 1.1.0.
The checked sources do not establish a universal menu path for displaying the build number. This page helps choose applicable evidence; it does not invent an About-screen control.
Match your symptom to an announced fix
| Task or symptom | Relevant documented version | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Bridge/tunnel levels, mixed-terrain drag, open-ground interchange | Demo 1.0.7 | Terrain crossing / interchange placement |
| One-click junction left/U-turn ban and Reset removing bans | 1.0.8 | Turn controls |
| Green times, custom phases or order after road edits | Two 1.0.7 hotfixes recapped in 1.0.8; receiving-lane custom-phase case added in 1.0.8 | Signal version checks |
| Unupgradable short pieces, short bridge-adjacent upgrades, turn-lane refusals | New changes announced for full 1.1.0 | Road-editing diagnosis |
| Cannot identify the unreachable destination | Full 1.1.0 names it and marks it red | No Route diagnosis |
| Demand-responsive signal car limits differ after loading | Full 1.1.0 load-related fix | Differentiate the signal fields |
A published fix is developer evidence of the intended change. It does not certify every old save or mean that a fresh reproduction on your installation is impossible.
What remains unknown about the Demo
The November 3 announcement describes the full 1.1.0 release and changes since the last Demo update. It does not give a new Demo build number. The current store still lists a separate downloadable Demo, but that fact alone does not establish version parity. Use the documented Demo controls with their dates, and treat newer full-version changes as a distinct branch until your Demo build is actually established.
CrazyGames is a separate browser edition. In the Steam-linked developer discussion, a player assumed it was the Demo; the developer explicitly distinguished its smaller feature set. Old browser advice cannot establish current Steam shortcuts or fixes. For a Steam key lookup use documented PC controls or Mac alternatives. Full 1.1.0's Guidelines setting and Creative mode remain labelled full-release features here.
Do not confuse a new product with a save transfer
The developer FAQ says Demo saves are separate and progress does not carry into the full game. The full release also adds systems and tools beyond this site’s approved road/junction help. This guide does not promise a save-conversion workaround or turn the Demo instructions into a full railway, metro, freight or all-challenges walkthrough.
Send a report that distinguishes old and current behavior
Copy this structure and fill it with your actual observations:
Product: Demo or full game
Version/build: exact display, or unknown
Operating system: your actual OS
Trigger: one edit or reload that causes the problem
Before: relevant road/turn/signal state
After: exact warning or changed field
Evidence: save and before/after screenshots
Comparison: relevant patch/date, without assuming Demo parityFor the rejoin error, include the affected road hovered and any adjacent turn lane. For signal resets, distinguish green time, custom phases, order and demand-responsive limits. For No Route, include the destination name if your version shows one.
You have the right version branch when you can state which product you launched, what numeric build is known or unknown, and which patch concerns your exact trigger. Use that branch for the linked task or submit the precise current reproduction; the newest announcement alone is not your installed-version receipt.
